2026.08.0509:00:00UTC+00Norway’s House Price Growth Cools to 2.2% in July, Signalling Softer Housing Momentum

Norway’s housing market showed signs of cooling in July, as annual house price growth slowed to 2.20% year-over-year, down from 3.90% in June, according to data updated on 5 August 2026. The figures compare price changes in each month with the same month a year earlier.

The deceleration in the House Price Index suggests that upward pressure on residential property values is easing, marking a notable step down from June’s pace. While prices are still rising on an annual basis, the weaker July reading points to a softer momentum in Norway’s housing sector as the summer progresses.
