The willingness to spend also stayed unchanged, recording its highest level in four months at -19, with perceptions regarding the timing of significant purchases stable at a three-month high of -34. Expectations for the coming year brightened, reaching a seven-month high by improving to -43 from -46. Similarly, expectations for personal finances over the next twelve months advanced to a seven-month high of -4, bettering from -5. Nonetheless, household perceptions of their financial situation over the past year slightly deteriorated, with the index dropping to -18 from -17. Concurrently, views on the general economic situation during the same period declined, falling to -61 from -59.
