The upward trend was widespread and driven by the anticipation of potential U.S. interest rate cuts following signs of weakening labor demand. In China, stock markets have surged almost 10% this month, stimulated by a liquidity-driven upswing. Additionally, the People's Bank of China injected a net amount of CNY 465.7 billion into the financial sector today, marking its largest daily injection since late July, ensuring abundant funding conditions. The Tech Index saw an increase of over 3%, influenced by upcoming earnings from Nvidia and the recent launch of an enhanced model by DeepSeek, which is backed by Chinese semiconductors. Consumer, property, and financial stocks also advanced, following Shanghai's decision to eliminate property taxes for eligible first-time homebuyers and to relax purchase restrictions in suburban districts. Despite these advances, the anticipation of China's forthcoming industrial profit data for January to July kept some potential gains in check. Leading the gains were companies such as KE Holdings, with a 5.6% rise, Galaxy Entertainment at 5.3%, Lenovo advancing 3.9%, Meituan up by 3.0%, and Tencent at 2.4%.
