In July 2025, Poland experienced a 1.2% decline in producer prices compared to the same month the previous year. This decrease was slightly less than the anticipated 1.4% drop and marked a slight improvement from the 1.5% decrease recorded in June. The deflation rate in the manufacturing sector showed signs of easing, with a reduction of 0.9% as opposed to June's 1.3% downturn. However, declines were more pronounced in sectors such as electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply, which fell by 2.2% compared to the previous month's 1.2%, and in mining and quarrying, which saw a decrease of 7.8%, slightly more than June's 7.7%. In contrast, the costs related to water supply and waste management services remained steady at a 2.5% increase. On a month-to-month basis, producer prices decreased by 0.1% in July 2025, overturning the 0.5% increase observed in the previous month.
